About Us
About StudentsHelp.ca
An independent, practical guide for students navigating one of the biggest moves of their life.
Our mission
Moving to Canada to study involves a lot of moving parts — immigration rules, tuition, housing, jobs, healthcare — and the information is scattered across dozens of government pages, forums, and outdated blog posts. StudentsHelp.ca exists to put the essentials in one clear, honest place.
How this site works
The core guides on this site are written and reviewed by our team, covering study permits, immigration pathways, cost of living, housing, work permits, banking, health coverage, and daily life across Canada.
We also use AI to help keep content fresh: our chat assistant answers student questions using the site's existing articles, and when it encounters a question we haven't covered yet, it drafts a new article automatically — which our team reviews and edits before it's published. Every AI-assisted article is clearly reviewed by a human before it goes live; nothing publishes on autopilot.
What we're not
We are not a law firm, a licensed immigration consultancy, or an official government service. Nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice, and immigration rules change frequently. Always confirm anything time-sensitive or application-critical directly with IRCC / canada.ca, or with a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer for your specific situation.
